Apple and Rhubarb with Custard Parfait

1 (128 mL) Heinz Custard Jar

1 (128 mL) Heinz Apple Strawberry Raspberry Pouch 

1/4 cup (60 mL) trimmed and sliced rhubarb


1. Cook rhubarb in a small saucepan with boiling water for 4 to 6 minutes, or until tender. Drain and cool. Mash rhubarb in a small bowl with fork, and refrigerate to cool completely. Combine mashed rhubarb with Heinz Custard Jar.

2. Spoon half the Heinz Apple Strawberry Raspberry Pouch between two small serving cups. Top with half of the rhubarb and custard mixture.

Repeat with remaining Heinz Apple Strawberry Raspberry Pouch and rhubarb custard mixture.

3. Check temperature before serving.

4. Serve portion in a bowl and refrigerate remainder for another meal.
