Menu Tips!

Planning your baby's menu can be challenging at times, but exciting too! Exploring new meal and snack ideas is a great way to expand your baby's palate, and keep them from getting bored. Keep track and keep trying - It's only a matter of time before your baby is eating a wide range of nutritious and delicious foods.

Here are some tips and general guidelines for each stage:

For the first 1 to 2 weeks, introduce Heinz® Beginner cereal, allowing 3 to 5 days between varieties. Follow the same approach for each of the Heinz Beginner vegetables and Heinz Beginner fruits.

Around 12 months, toddlers are ready to explore most tastes and textures. Also, they want the independence to feed themselves - a very important developmental milestone!

Active toddlers benefit from small snacks throughout the day to give them the energy they need. Make sure the snacks you feed provide your toddler with the proper nutrition. Try our selection of Little Kids™ snack items.

Remember - although they want to be independent, toddlers must still be closely monitored while they eat.
